The Economic Impact Assessment of Forth Ports Scottish East Coast Ports

Client: Forth Ports

Detailed economic assessment of the economic impact and contribution of the Scottish Ports to the Scottish economy in terms of employment, GVA, freight value of export and imported goods, and wider project enablement and support.  In total the ports are estimated employ and support approximately 13,051 FTE jobs and £2.37 billion of economic value.

Baseline assessment, supply chain consultation and analysis, and scenario mapping providing a detailed assessment of the requirements and development programme of the offshore wind industry and the availability, capacity and capability of the port infrastructure and industry supply chain on the East Coast of Scotland to meet these requirements.

River Braan Hydro Scheme, Perthshire Socio-Economic Assessment

Client: with Jacobs for Npower Renewables

The Socio-economic and tourism and recreation assessment of a proposed 2.0MW hydro power scheme close to Dunkeld addressing the scheme’s potential impact on the wider tourism economy and on tourism related businesses and recreation in the area. Environmental Statement chapter as supporting information to the planning application and SEPA CAR License application.
